Job description

Perform duties like: Moving cattle to home location. Loading/unloading of cattle/calves. Feeding/watering cattle. Prep feed for cattle/calves. Bedding in shelter. Assisting in the birthing of calves. Calf care/feeding. Tagging new animals. Inspect livestock for illness/injuries. Administering vaccines/shots. Working and vaccinating cattle. Weaning. Sorting/separating and moving cattle/calves. Cleaning shelters and yard. Maintaining feed/water equipment. Welding maintenance. Maintaining shelter and fencing. Snow removal. Maintaining snow equipment. Maintaining any other necessary equipment. Operating all necessary equipment. Drive for any cattle supplies. Moving cattle/calves to sale yard. Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
