Job description
Job duties include receiving crop for drying and storage at grain storage facility; disposing of spoiled grain; transporting grain from fields to grain bins; loading and unloading grain into trucks while keeping grain level; operating augers and grain conveying equipment; monitoring grain moisture levels; preparing scale tickets; shoveling grain; hauling grain out to market; cleaning grain bins and the surrounding areas of the operation; pulling and picking up tree limbs around the worksite; and performing wall and floor repair of the bins. Equipment that employees will operate includes but is not limited to grain bin loop, 18 wheelers, skid steer, weed eater, and power tools. Employees must have 2 months of experience; the ability to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire; and basic English literacy, reading and math skills. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
Special Requirements
Random drug testing and criminal background checks may occur post-hire at the employers expense. These checks may be performed to ensure a safe housing and work environment for all workers. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to heavy lifting, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, bending, or repetitive movements.
