Job description

Perform duties like: Moving cattle home to their winter pastures. Fall cattle work/pregnancy checking. Weaning. Feeding cattle. Working and vaccinating cattle Maintaining feed equipment. Welding maintenance. Inspect livestock for illness/injury Maintaining winter grazing fences. Hauling water to heifers. Prepping ranch barns and grounds for freeze. Opening frozen water tanks. Snow removal. Shipping calves to market. Moving cattle to calving pastures. Prep barns and cattle for calving. Cleaning barns. Branding cattle. Moving cattle to summer pastures at the end of the season. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
