Job description
Perform general livestock tasks such as feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading animals.
Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries; assisting in birthing, administering medication, vaccinations, or insecticides.
Maintaining animal housing areas - cleaning stalls and sheds using disinfectant solutions, brushes and shovels.
Drive trucks, tractors and other equipment to distribute feed to animals.
Maintain ranch equipment.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 60 pounds. Minimum of 3 months experience. No minimum education required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30-90 days of hire. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
