Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Determine and make available feed and forage for livestock on a daily basis during season. Maintain water availability for cattle on a daily basis during season. Rotate cattle to fields as forage is consumed. Maintain fence perimeters to promote correct density of cattle per field. Manage snow removal to create a conducive environment for cattle. Position and maintain windbreaks for cattle comfort. Position temporary feed areas as weather requires. Handle cattle at receiving and load out.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
