Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock, such as cattle on farm. Maintain heated watering system. Operate feed truck and feed wagon, loader tractor, payloader, skid steer, box scrapper. Gather, process, and distribute feed for cattle. Fill troughs with feed and water. Remove ice formed in water. Keep feeding areas free of debris and manure. Distribute bedding for cattle. Detect, pull and treat sick cattle. Help a cow birth a calf if having complications. Process calves as they come into feed lot. Early weaning of yearling calves. Drive a semi truck and trailer to haul hay into feeding area. Load and unload cattle from semi trailers. Create and read ration sheets. Maintain and operate snow removal equipment and manure truck. General maintenance of livestock related equipment such as fueling, greasing and minor repairs.

Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Frequent stooping is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
