Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Moving cattle home from summer pastures in December. Winter cattle work. Feeding cattle. Working and vaccinating cattle. Maintaining feed equipment. Inspect livestock for illness/injuries. Maintaining winter cattle gates and fences. Hauling water to cattle. Prepping barns for freeze. Opening frozen water tanks and springs. Snow removal. Sorting cattle for market. Moving cattle to and from pastures. Prep barns and cattle. Replace cattle bedding. Tagging cattle. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
