Job description

Supervisor position requires extensive walking and repetitive stooping to pass through fields throughout the day. The majority of the workday is spent on ones feet, constantly in movement, and outdoors. Workers are rarely in one place for any period of time. Supervisors must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, bend (from the waist), push, pull, reach, lift and carry items weighing in range from 5 to 60 pounds during the course of performing all required job specifications. All work is performed in outdoor agricultural fields and involves exposure to sun, wind, rain, soil, mud, dust, heat, cold and other natural elements. Supervisor must be able to withstand working in the direct sunlight, and conditions ranging from hot and humid weather, moderate rain and cold while performing their required job duties. Workers should come prepared wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the environmental and working conditions described. Work entails exposure to soil, plants, insects, and plant materials such as, but not limited to pesticides and fertilizers. Employer will comply with all worker protection standards and
restrictions applicable to the use of pesticides and other chemicals. Workers are required to comply with all applicable worker protections standards as communicated by Agri Crew, LLC. Required posters will be placed at applications areas displaying date and time that re-entry is allowed. For the company to ensure the highest level of food safety within its operation, supervisors must be able to listen to, and follow verbal instruction by any farm manager and understand the purpose of required posters that are in place. The Employer will provide the tools necessary to perform the described job duties without charge to the worker. The Employer will charge the worker for reasonable costs related to the worker's refusal or negligent failure to return the tools or due to such worker's willful damage or destruction of the tools. All Company Employee Safety and Hygiene Policies, including Harvest Crew Hygiene,
Employee Conduct, Food Safety and Security, must be followed by each worker. Employer will provide mandatory pesticide and Food Safety Training to employees that comply with all federal, state and local statues and regulations. Each hired supervisor will receive by the first day of work, a copy of the Employee Handbook outlining such policies and procedures. Worker is responsible to read thoroughly the information provided, and to seek assistance of a Farm Manager for questions or clarity. Supervisors must wear all required and assigned personal protective equipment at all required times. Supervisors must wear proper clothing and footwear for conditions and all footwear must be closed-toe. Duties may vary from time to time and may include all of the following job specifications: Supervisors must familiarize themselves with all of Agri Crew, LLC.s policies, production standards and disciplinary practices as they will supervise general farm laborers/hand harvester teams to assure jobs are completed accordingly. Agri Crew, LLC. will provide instructions and supervisor will be responsible for communicating the instructions to the harvest team assigned to them. Supervisor must review worker production to assure worker has conformed to specific instructions given for each days work. Employer will inform worker of daily picking standards, including color, size and grade, and worker will be responsible for communicating standards to harvest team members. Supervisor will be required to consistently check crop containers throughout the day to verify compliance with quality standards. Supervisor must be able to identify any bruising or other damage, and check produce size and color. Supervisor will provide training to harvest team members whose production does not meet productivity or quality standards.

Special Requirements

Bus Driver Requirements:
- State of Florida CDL driver's license with passenger endorsement or International driver's license
- FLCE driving authorization
- Florida state crew leader license with driving authorization
- Medical exam certificate
- One year of experience driving a bus
