General Farm Labor

Job description

Workers will load, transport and deliver organic edible beans from storage bins to trucks then to processor located in warehouse for cleaning and pre bag for retail seed for 2023 crop season. Experience needed with operating bob cat and fork lifts when necessary. They will operate seed cleaning machines. Among other tasks to do is test the quality of edible beans by sampling them . Inspect trucks to be free of debris and odor for organic integrity when transporting organic beans as well as backing up trucks. Monitoring pest control in organic warehouses. All machines used for production and assembly areas will need to be maintained and clear of debris including the loading docks inside and outside including operating a tractor with snow blower to remove snow from bins and loading areas. Must be willing to work outside in cold temperatures when necessary.

Workers must have a current drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
They will need to be able to lifting 50 pounds,.
Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls and No Texting .
No Smoking in equipment, vehicles or housing. No drinking of alcohol beverages during working hours and other wise discouraged. Must have three months experience of truck driving and seed cleaning experience. No Education level required.
Must be able to read, write and understand English for safety reasons.
