Job description
Job duties include preparing scale tickets, monitoring to ensure compliance with moisture and grade standards; transferring grain to proper storage location; transporting grain from elevator as required and transferring grain from storage bins to truck bins prior to shipment; operating augers and conveyors; clearing grain from automatic conveyor system that is causing jams, stoppages, or gaps in grain movement; performing housekeeping duties to ensure that storage locations are properly maintained; performing maintenance & minor miscellaneous repair on augers, grain bins and other tools involved with the storage of grain. Must be able to climb vertical grain leg. 1 month of experience required. Pay increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience, merit, and employer discretion.
Special Requirements
Basic English literacy and math skills required. Must have or be able to obtain drivers license within 30 days of hire.
