Job description

Maintaining and operating snow removal and feed equipment used in winter months and during winter calving season. Examining animals to detect weather related injuries and ensuring the health of cows and calves during calving. Cleaning snow off of cattle feeding grounds, unloading and moving cattle for feeding and protection from winter weather, loading cattle for shipment to market. Clearing snow from yards and barn. Maintaining heated water systems. Removing ice from water. Maintaining heated section of barns so that equipment is operational during coldest weather. Minimum of one (1) month of farm experience. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs for 75 yards. Ability to work for an extended period of time in extreme cold weather conditions.
