General Farm Worker

Job description

The Employees will operate tractors with computerized feeder wagons to feed cattle daily, grind hay, and roll feed. They will assist with the calving of the cattle and care for new born. The Employees will administrate vaccines and pour on for routine care of the animals. They will operate vehicles designated for towing equipment such as feed carts, trailers and flatbeds. The Employees will be responsible for minor repairs and routine maintenance of machinery.
Fencing and repairs will have to be done. Each pen will have to be checked for minerals, water, health of the animals, on a daily basis.

Cell phones are limited to business calls only. No Texting, No smoking in equipment, housing or vehicles. No Drinking of alcohol beverages during working hours , other wise discouraged. Must have a current drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days. Workers must have three months tractor driving, computerized scale wagons and cattle experience. No Educational level required.
