Job description
General farmhands for Rice & Crawfish, work includes: Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of crop & driving tractor. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate crawfish boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond; lifting requirement of 40 lbs. & repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. 3 mos. experience. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
