Job description
Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant while adhering to our sanitation and safety standard in work areas. Operate large-volume cooking equipment.
Special Requirements
THE PETITIONER WILL CONSIDER ANY PERSON FOR EMPLOYMENT WHO POSSESSES AT LEAST SIX (6) MONTHS OF CULINARY EXPERIENCE IN A FINE-DINING OR HIGH-VOLUME ENVIRONMENT AT A HIGH-END RESTAURANT, RESORT, OR PRIVATE CLUB. APPLICANT MUST PROVIDE OUT OF COUNTRY POLICE REPORT AND COMPLETE PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING.
APPLICANT MUST ALSO HOLD "SERVESAFE" CERTIFICATION. Not mandatory upon hire, but preferred, will help obtain.
Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Shifts may vary. Sample shifts: 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm. Double shifts and OT offered and available.
