Job description
Workers may be required to assist in several different task around the farm. Workers will be asked to assist in land preparation to include driving tractors, plowing fields, assist in planting caring for and harvest of the rice and soy bean crop, walking, and riding fields checking water. Workers will work in the crawfish fields bot pushing a small boat and or running a motorized boat, emptying and baiting traps for the next day. Workers will also clean and prepare the boats each day when finishing. Workers will also help in loading and unloading the crawfish each day, lifting sacks of crawfish that weigh up to 45 pounds. Workers will prepare the artificial or cut fish bait each day for the next, bait boxes could weigh as much as 75 pounds.
