Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Moving cattle to birthing pastures or corrals. Pregnancy testing, vaccinating calves and cows. Feeding cattle two times daily. Maintaining numerous tractors, loader, feed equipment. Maintaining several water wells, tanks, removing Ice and snow. Prepping the calving sheds, and barns used. Removing Snow and ice from the feeding area. Our calving season begins early December and runs through February. All of the calves will need to be branded and vaccinated. Cleaning barn and pens daily. Moving cattle back to pastures after birthing and vaccinated.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
