Job description

Check well-being of livestock daily and multiple times a day during harsher weather. Haul hay, check water and break ice multiple times every day when frozen. Build fence, tear down fence, move cows, rebuild fence at least once per month. Monitor and doctor pregnant cows. Assist in birthing when needed, no matter the time of day. Monitor new calves closely during extreme weather. Move calves to barn and bottle feed when indicated. Workers are expected to be on call 24/7 for emergencies/pulling calves/breaking ice, etc but will not be required to work on the workers Sabbath or Federal holidays. Typical work week will consists of a minimum of 45 hours Sunday through Saturday.
