Order Fulfillment Clerk

Job description

We have a chicken hatchery production facility. We incubate chicken eggs, hatch the chicks, separate the chicks by gender, package the chicks up into customer orders and ship the chicks directly to our customers.

Employees will assist with toe and wing clipping, searching for, and retrieving chickens from the back sexing area or hallway when necessary, use of automatic vaccinators, hand vaccinations, beak trimming, and cocci spraying. Employees will fulfill all orders, using a detailed eye to fill each order with care and correctness, making sure each order is counted with precision. Employees will need to compare each packing slip with each box label and make sure the information on both matches the other with absoluteness. Employees will also assist in the sanitation of the fulfillment room on an everyday basis: taking out garbage, sweeping, mopping, removal of trays, removal of birds, washing of buckets, wiping down tables, carts, computer systems, organizing by using proper SOP procedure.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting, walking, repetitive movements, and frequent stooping or bending over. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs for 75yds. Require 3 months experience.
