Job description
General farm worker needed for crawfish, rice & soybeans. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and minor repair on fences along field roads. Field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice & soybeans, drive tractor. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate motorized & push Crawfish boat; repair traps, frequent stooping and lifting traps; lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. The worker may be requested but not required to work more than 8 hours per day and/or the Sabbath depending upon the conditions at the worksite, weather, and maturity of the crop. All tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost; Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and/or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
