Job description
General farmhands for Rice , Soybeans, Crawfish & Hay, work includes: Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice & driving tractor; clean rice bins, haul hay & soybeans to barn, fertilize crop; Crawfish to include manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate crawfish push boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond; lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and/or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
