Farm Hand

Job description

Perform general farm duties for harvesting crops such as hay, fruits including blueberries and grapes, and planting Christmas trees. May also attend to livestock such
as grooming/feeding horses and cleaning the stalls, tending to cattle, and making animal feed for chickens and alpacas. The farm hands will operate farm equipment, as necessary, such as lawnmowers and 20-50 hp utility farm tractors, along with 3pt mowers, and landscape rakes for weed control. No experience is required to operate this type of entry-level equipment. However, onsite training will be provided prior to them starting any farm equipment. The workers will also use landscaping tools such as hand-held weed whackers, chain saws, and shovels.
