Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Clean trucks and storage bins. Condition, store, transport, and monitor all seed. Treat seed. General farm work on and around the farm.

Crops: Barley, Canola, Dry Peas, Durum, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Sunflower

Equipment: Tractor, Combine, Grain Truck

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
