Medical Assistant

Job description

Scheduling patients, verifying insurance benefits and requesting pre-authorization;

Escorting patients to the treatment area;

Assisting the physician with various patient treatments and care;

Sterilizing and setting up instruments;

Restocking treatment area;

Notifying the physician when patient is ready for exam;

Maintaining cleanliness of the treatment area;

Registering patients;

Following ancillary guidelines as deemed necessary by the practice manager;

Completing daily assigned tasks.

Special Requirements

No special license or certification is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Excellent customer service
