Job description
Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul small engines used to power lawn mowers, chain saws, recreational sporting equipment and related equipment. Inspect equipment to determine service & repair needs. Perform complete repair and overhaul functions, including routine maintenance services for small tools (electric & gas). Maintain & service schedules for company equipment such as skid steers, ride-on trenchers and mini excavators. Perform regular scheduled maintenance on light duty two axel trucks equipped with standard hydraulic brake systems to include oil change, tire pressure checks and light mechanical repairs that does not include electronic systems. Maintenance and repairs on trailers to include tire pressure, tail light replacement and light electrical as needed for connection to towing vehicle. Must be able to lift equipment up to 80lbs.
Minimum 35 up to 40 hours per week. Normal workdays Monday-Friday from 6:45am-3:45pm with 1 hour unpaid relief period. Workdays and shift time may vary with weather. Work on Saturdays and holidays may be required.
Rate of pay: $19.59 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. In Texas, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $29.39 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour. Special Requirements
