Job description
General farm worker needed for crawfish and rice. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Rice to include: prepare land for planting of rice : water maintenance, and drive tractor. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate crawfish boat; frequent stooping and lifting traps, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
