Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Feeding cattle. Working and vaccinating cattle. Pregnancy checking. Maintaining feed equipment. Inspect livestock for illness/injuries. Maintaining winter grazing fences. Prepping barn for calving. Shipping calves to market. Cleaning barns. Calving begins February through April. May need to drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive walking is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
