Vineyard Worker

Job description

Workers will primarily perform canopy management tasks throughout the vineyard such as: pruning; tying down canes; leaf removal from fruit zone; shoot thinning and positioning; suckering vine trunks; secondary fruit removal; fruit thinning; and harvesting grapes. Use of required tools are provided such as pruning shears, loppers, harvest shears (Felco#310), and tractor equipment such as a John Deere 2210 HST. Workers may also transplant grape vines, repair and construct trellises and fencing as needed. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs frequently
