Job description

Duties may include tending to farm & ranch animals; plant, care, cut and bale hay; maintain and harvest bee hives; repair farm structures & fences; clean, maintain & control animal housing areas & grounds. Basic farm maintenance of irrigation systems, fences, buildings, ditches, roads and ponds. Load and unload supplies. Assist with calving and grooming. Chopping brush, load and unload hay bales. Operate truck and trailer, tractors, hay baler, cotter and rake, hay accumulator, forklift, shredder, seeder, manure spreader and discs Involves walking, bending, stooping, lifting, standing, stretching, pushing and pulling and repetitive movements on a frequent basis. Must be able lift 100 lbs often, work in extreme weather conditions.
