Job description
Perform the following primary duties on a farm for a farmer like: assist with the installation and
repair of agricultural irrigation systems on farms. Assist with the installation and repair of
feedlot/dairy, fresh water and wastewater drainage systems including pumps, discharge piping,
underground piping and valving on farms. Effectively operate support equipment such as
backhoes, loaders, pump rigs, cranes, trucks on farms.
Secondary tasks performed on the farm for the farmer include: maintain equipment and tools,
maintain inventory, complete daily work reports/data sheets, read and understand instructions/
maps of worksites. Package and load supplies, equipment and material onto semi at
headquarters and drive to the farms listed on Addendum B of the ETA 790A. Ensure safety of
the crew, materials and equipment, compile vehicle inspection reports and perform regular
maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools. Must be able to communicate with crew
efficiently and effectively.

Special Requirements
Employer requires drug screening post hire at employer's expense due to liability of driving heavy equipment and trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screening will result in termination of employment. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent stooping. OT/holiday is not mandatory. Repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30-90 days of hire. No minimum education required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
