Job description

***RFI Response***

In connection with the job duty “move product” please note that this is simply the function of moving the hunted birds and/or cleaned birds to the next process. For example, from the field to the cleaning area; from cleaning to butchering area; from butchering area to the packaging area; and once packaged to the freezer or loaded into clients’ vehicles to take home. To “move product” just requires the individual to carry the bird/package by hand and does not require any special equipment. Further the movement of bird/product will only be on/around the worksites listed.
In connection with the job duties listed as "maintain grounds of plantation; clean and maintain lodge; and clean & maintain worksite, tools, and/or equipment" – I will tackle each phrase separately as to better provide a specific response:
“Maintain grounds of plantation” – picking up and throwing of trash; cutting grass if needed; after a hunt, making sure the blinds and all areas are cleaned and maintained as operable for the next day;
“Clean and Maintain Lodge” – these job duties include cleaning the lodge and maintaining the lodge in a functional and presentable manner, including picking up trash, cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and all common areas;
”clean & maintain worksite, tools, and/or equipment"— again this includes cleaning and maintaining the worksites, tools, and equipment used around the plantation while performing the other specific job duties listed in a neat, presentable, and functional manner. Workers will have to clean the areas where the birds are butchered and packaged (as this can be quite filthy after a day of work), maintain the area by putting up all items where they belong at the end of the day; cleaning the tools used during the butchering of birds and then putting them away; throwing out the trash; cleaning any equipment used during the day on the plantation or cleaning of the birds on the plantation. Please note this does not include detailed maintenance of vehicles or any other equipment which may require a mechanic.

***Original F.a.2***

Job Duties may include: guiding quail hunts; butchering and cleaning quail/fowl; package fowl/food; vacuum seal cleaned birds; move product; freeze cleaned and packaged birds; care for hunting dogs (feed, water, clean pens); maintain grounds of plantation; clean and maintain lodge; and clean & maintain worksite, tools, and/or equipment.

Special Requirements

None.
