Job description

Job Duties:
1. Preparing potatoes that are in storage for shipment.
2. Removing weeds from grass seed fields.
3. Spraying herbicides.

THIS IS A DESCRIPTION FOR Cabbage, Corn, Grass seed Strawberries, Raspberries, Potatoes
1. Plant, weed, and harvest mixed greens, including but not limited to: potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, cabbage
2. Packing mixed greens, including but not limited to: potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, cabbage
3. Bunch mixed greens, including but not limited to: potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, cabbage
4. Pick produce according to color. Exercise care to prevent bruising or damaging of produce.
5. Farm clean up tasks to include picking up garbage around the farm and other hand tasks.
6. General irrigation duties (moving and setting pipes, opening and closing gates).
7. Comply with employers food safety program
8. Hand weeding

Special Requirements

4a) Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs.
4b) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
4c) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing of tools, wheel barrows, fruit containers, etc.
4d) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time while sorting, picking, examining, weeding, transporting, pruning, etc.
4e) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing farm labor such as weeding, irrigating, pruning, picking, removing debris, etc.
4f) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the farm labor duties, for example picking, sorting, pruning, shoveling, weeding, etc.
