Job description

Operate field equipment such as self- propelled sprayers, to spread fertilizer on farms. Prior to fertilizing fields, prepare by pumping water, anhydrous ammonia, and other chemicals/fertilizers from our storage tanks into the nurse tanks, calculating blends, batching the blends, pumping the blends into storage tanks on vehicles, and bringing the vehicles, fertilizer, and equipment to fields. May sometimes drive semi-trucks to deliver feed ingredients to bin sites if domestic help is not available.

Equipment: Skid Loader/Bobcat, Sprayer, Dry Floater, 300 Horsepower Tractor or Bigger, Pickup, Short Truck (Class B CDL), Semi Truck (Class A CDL)

Special Requirements

Extensive pushing, pulling, sitting and walking. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent stooping. Repetitive movements. OT/Holiday is mandatory. Minimum of three (3) months experience required. No minimum education required. Must be able to obtain a CDL and drivers license within 30-90 days following hire. Must be able to lift 75lbs. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment.
