Job description
Manually plant, cultivate, transplant and harvest trees. Duties also include operating tractors and skid steers, field
maintenance, ball digging, running weed eaters, trimming trees, tying tops of trees, cutting trees, wrapping tree
trunks in protective felt, preparing digging machines, driving trucks, stacking lumber and cross ties, operating
sawmill, loading saw dust, measuring logs and packing trees onto trucks. Unloading, inventory, trenching and
watering liners daily, cultivating soil, preparing and planting liners using setter, working with overhead watering
system, trimming, watering, fertilizing, hoeing weeds and mowing between tree rows. Allergens will be
encountered: hay, pollen, dust, etc. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs and have prior experience working with
budded liners and bare root harvesting. Driver's license required.
