Job description
Duties for crawfish: Farm labor includes running crawfish boats, setting nets, running nets, operating motorboats; grading crawfish, carry sacks, weigh crawfish, carry from pond to house; driving and running equipment such as tractors, dozers, etc., for planting in March, April and May. Duties for rice and soybean: Planting in March, April and May, harvest first rice crop in July/August and second crop harvest is September/October along with soybeans; maintenance of equipment, cleaning shop, equipment; general farm upkeep, clean bins, load and unload rice trucks. Drive from housing to farm and bins. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Must be physically capable to climb ladder to enter rice bin and steps to tractor. Must be able to lift and carry 70 lbs frequently Transportation provided to jobsite from central location
