Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and planter to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment and water tank. Drive and operate grain cart. Must be able to count rows and not depend on autosteer to drive tractor. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Clean machinery thoroughly after use.

Equipment: Tractors: 4020, 8345R - IBT, 8260R - IBT, 8295R - IBT, 6230R - Command Pro Combine. Sprayer, Cotton Picker: CP690Field Equipment: Field Cultivator, Hipper, Vertical Till, Disk, Stalk Puller, Shredder, Cotton Bale Mover, Liquid Fertilizer rig, Granular Fertilizer Spreader, Hooded Sprayer.

Crops: Corn, Cotton, Milo, Soy Beans

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
