Job description
We have farms in California and Texas. This position is for our Texas farm, which operates 1,030 acres. Our primary crop is cotton, with the possibility of growing wheat or sorghum as well. Employee will assist with operating tractor for tillage, planting, and cultivation; weeding; operating and maintaining wells, subsurface drip irrigation systems, and center pivot sprinklers. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned.
Special Requirements
Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion. Job requires extensive walking, sitting and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
