Line Worker

Job description

Work in sausage and hotdog manufacturing facility. Manual placement of sausage to containers and packaging materials. Packaging of finished goods in individual or bulk packers. Palletizing of shippers containing finished goods. Visual inspection of finished goods following quality standards. Report issues to supervisor. Keep work area clean according to standards. Other light duties as assigned. Follow and comply with all company, manufacturing, and safety regulations.

Employer will offer 40 hours per week. Operations run 7 days a week, workdays vary Sunday through Saturday. Normal shifts: 2:30pm-10:30pm or 10:30pm-6:30am. Shift includes 3 paid 15-minute breaks. Workdays and shift times may vary with orders and weather.

Basic rate of pay: $18 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available at $27 per hour. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly
