Job description
Prepare and cook food according to the recipes and menus or assigned specials; produce consistent high-quality food products in a timely, organized manner; inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure a high level of sanitation and safety at all times. Cooking will take place in a restaurant.
WORK SCHEDULE: MINIMUM 35 HOURS PER WEEK. OPEN 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WILL WORK 8-10 HOUR SHIFTS SCHEDULED VARIOUSLY MONDAY - SUNDAY, BETWEEN 6AM – 1AM, WITH OPTIONAL OVERNIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE FROM 11PM - 7AM. HOURS AND SHIFTS MAY VARY DUE TO OCCUPANCY.
ADDITIONAL WAGE INFORMATION CONTINUED: EMPLOYER MAY INCREASE WAGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND/ OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PAY FOR PERFORMANCE AND TENURE. OVERTIME MAY BE AVAILABLE BUT IS NOT GUARANTEED. 1 COMPLEMENTARY MEAL PER SHIFT; 50% DISCOUNT ON FOOD & BEVERAGE; ASSOCIATE ACCOMMODATION DISCOUNT PROGRAM; 25% RETAIL DISCOUNT; AND, DISCOUNTED OR COMPLIMENTARY USAGE OF RESORT ACTIVITIES PENDING OCCUPANCY..
Special Requirements
MUST HAVE 3 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE AS A HOTEL/RESORT COOK AND MUST BE CONVERSANT IN ENGLISH SUFFICIENT TO RESPOND TO EMPLOYER REQUESTS.
