Job description
Silver Oak Farms profit centers are corn, soybeans, and wheat. We have storage for 375,000 bushels of grain plus a grain dryer for conditioning. We irrigate about 10% of our land. Employees will be involved in crop and field operations, applying fertilizers, chemicals and manure, and truck driving to transport fertilizer, seed, grain, and other supplies from on-farm site to fields and other designated locations. Employees will need to efficiently and safely perform all crop and field tasks assigned by supervisor; Utilize farm equipment to perform daily tasks including, but not limited to, tillage, grain cart operation, and mowing; Efficiently and effectively operate sprayer in the field; Conduct and document pre and post equipment use inspections and complete associated recordkeeping. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Require 3 months experience.
