Job description
Operating large John Deere farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS (auto guidance) such as tractors, combines, sprayers, planters for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as soybeans, rice, corn, cotton; assessing field conditions and crop maturity for adjusting down pressure of openers, threshing settings of combines, and flow rate of sprayers; assisting with installation, operation, maintenance of irrigation systems; driving farm vehicle to obtain inputs for growing crops.
