Job description
Responsible for cleaning and setting-up of meeting rooms and banquet functions, including: vacuuming of floors, cleaning of walls, windows, and mirrors; proper care, movement, and storage of equipment, including tables, chairs, risers, dance floors and lecterns as required; properly controlling and storing meeting room supplies, such as linens, pads, pens/pencils, and meeting amenities as required; assisting in servicing meeting rooms by removing trash, clearing dirty plates, cups, glasses, and/or linens; straightening chairs; and replenishing water as specified or requested.
WORK SCHEDULE: MINIMUM 35 HOURS PER WEEK. OPEN 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WILL WORK 8-10 HOUR SHIFTS SCHEDULED VARIOUSLY MONDAY - SUNDAY, BETWEEN 6AM – 1AM. HOURS AND SHIFTS MAY VARY DUE TO OCCUPANCY.
ADDITIONAL WAGE INFORMATION CONTINUED: TIP POSITION WITH GUARANTEED WAGE OF $12.37/HOUR. EMPLOYER GUARANTEES OFFERED WAGE IN ANY GIVEN WORKWEEK WHEN TIP COMPENSATION DOES NOT MAKE HOURLY WAGE EQUAL OR EXCEED 12.37/HOUR. EMPLOYER MAY INCREASE WAGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND/ OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PAY FOR PERFORMANCE AND TENURE. OVERTIME MAY BE AVAILABLE BUT IS NOT GUARANTEED. 1 COMPLEMENTARY MEAL PER SHIFT; 50% DISCOUNT ON FOOD & BEVERAGE; ASSOCIATE ACCOMMODATION DISCOUNT PROGRAM; 25% RETAIL DISCOUNT; AND, DISCOUNTED OR COMPLIMENTARY USAGE OF RESORT ACTIVITIES PENDING OCCUPANCY.
Special Requirements
MUST HAVE 3 MONTHS OF HOTEL/RESORT BANQUET HOUSEMAN EXPERIENCE OR SIMILAR OCCUPATION; MUST BE CONVERSANT IN ENGLISH SUFFICIENT TO RESPOND TO EMPLOYER REQUESTS; AND, MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50 LBS.
