Job description
Operating GPS farm equipment such as 4830, 4230 Series John Deere sprayers, 500 hp tractors, 9S70 & 9S80, 5000, 6000, 8000 series combines, 8000 Series tractors; attaching & pulling levelers/scrapers; ground rig operation; flood irrigation; field sprinklers; ground sprayers; bucket lift; land leveling, field planting prep, planting, harvesting, changing (coupling) different implements; loading/unloading crops onto transport trucks; transporting crops from field to storage facilities; grain bin, auger, elevator operation; assisting with installation, operation & maintenance of irrigation systems; equipment preventative maintenance & winterization and related activities. Clean and maintain roads and ditches; shovel work. Filling diesel tanks, tractors, working in rice fields, walking in water; mud & water environment; 100+ humid temps. Drive Company truck for daily transportation to work site, to obtain parts and supplies, weekly shopping/church trips. Daily cleaning, maintenance and repairs to equipment, machinery, buildings and fences. Maintaining and cleaning of worksite, location, equipment, housing and Company truck. May have to work nights and weekends. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath.
