Job description
We are an irrigated and dryland farm that grows cotton, corn, sorghum, seed sorghum, wheat and mixed cover crops. We need employees to assist the farm with the operation of tractors, planters, sprayers, harvesters and other farm equipment to plow, spray, hoe fields of cotton, corn, wheat and sorghum. Employees must have general knowledge of the operation of large agricultural equipment. Employees will need to do general farm duties, routine maintenance, assist in repairs on equipment. Employees will complete other routine related farm duties to assist on the farm. Must be familiar with hydraulic and electrical trouble shooting. Employees will diagnose, service and repair irrigation systems. Also employees will help maintain cleanliness and general upkeep around farm locations.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
