Job description

Perform duties such as: Cultivate crops; Drive and operate farm machinery; Drive and operate self-propelled combines; Drive grain cart; Harvest crops; Load commodities into containers/conveyors; Maintain equipment; Plant crops; Plow and till soil; Use GPS autosteer systems; Use skid steer loader. Application of pesticides/herbicides, fertilizers to crops; Clean bins; Load grain trucks; Clean and maintain grounds/facilities; Mix materials/chemicals for planter/sprayer; Change oil in vehicles/equipment; Welding; Transport trucks from field at time of harvest to elevator/storage area; Maintain necessary invoices and paperwork association with crop production and equipment; Use cloud-based input and crop tracking applications; Categorize, edit, and reconcile grain tickets; General jobs that are associated with commercial grain crop production; Equipment includes: Case lH Precision 3580, Case lH Precision Disk 500, John Deere 1890 Air seeder Drill, John Deere 1910, Air seeder Cart, Amity Technology 2700 12R Beet Lifter, Amity Technology R9912 Beet Lifter, Alloway 8f267 Beet Topper, John Deere 790D-LC, Caterpillar D6 CAI Case lH Tiger Mate 200 Cultivator, Wil-Rich Quad 4 Chisel Plow, Case lH 600 Flex Chisel Plow 50', AG Chem 9203 Terragator 2009, Case lH 4440 2OL8-2077, Case lH 9240, Case lH 620 Quadrtac, Case lH 580 Quadtrac, Case lH 470 Quadtrac, Case lH 280 Quadtrac, tillage equipment, discs, yard equipment, scrapers, loaders, etc. Crops include durum, corn, potatoes, dry beans, rye, soy beans, spring wheat, sugar beets
