Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest, haul, and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, drill, and grain cart to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine and sprayer. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Mowing, general facility cleanup, and miscellaneous farm tasks and responsibilities.

Crops: Alfalfa, Corn, Milo, Soy Beans, Winter Wheat

Equipment: JD S670 Combine, JD Self-Propelled Sprayer, JD 8360R Tractor, JD 7810 Tractor with loader, JD 1770 NT 24 Row 30 Planter, JD 1890 CCS 40 Ft Air Seeder, JD Tillage Equipment, Peterbilt 379 Semi TrucksGrain, feed, tanker, and flat bed trailers, Fork Lifts, Center Pivot Irrigation Circles

Special Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
