Job description
We have a row crop farming operation consisting of 3,400 acres. We grow corn, soybeans, rice, and occasionally cotton. 1,000 acres are furrow irrigation and requires poly pipe. Employees will need to operate John Deere equipment. Job requires long hours during planting and harvesting seasons. Tasks will include planting, fertilizing, irrigating, and harvesting corn, soybeans and rice.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, walking, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire drug testing at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not hire anyone with a violent or theft criminal background. Require 3 months equipment operation experience.
