Job description

JOB DUTIES: Including but not limited to: Clean Bee Boxes, Build Bees Boxes, Get Honey, Feed Bees, Paint Bees Boxes, also clean field to place bees boxes. Workers are provided a two-day break-in period to acclimate to the demands of the job.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must not be afraid of bees. Must not have any allergies to bees, honey, pollen or any other products of the hive. Must tolerate extreme temperatures. Must have stamina to perform extensive pushing, pulling, walking, lifting, standing, stooping. Must pass a possible employer-paid, post-hire drug test. Must report to work sober and perform work duties sober. Workers must be physically fit to perform job duties without succumbing to excessive exhaustion after a two week break-in period.

CELL PHONE USE: The use of cell phones for personal or social purposes is prohibited during scheduled work when the worker is being paid to work. Phone use is only permitted during breaks, lunch and when workers are not being paid.

FOLLOW PROCEDURES: Must follow the company beekeeping procedures as instructed by the supervisor (to avoid damaging bee boxes and decreased production).
