Job description
Worker will manually plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables and fruits. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops; applying pesticides; cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested products. Workers will maintain and repair building, fences, trellis's, equipment and should be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have 3 months experience working with fresh produce and general farm work. Workers must be able to communicate when NOT in the line of sight and be physically able to perform the duties listed.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
