Farmworker

Job description

General farm labor. Perform a variety of manual and machine tasks. Clean, maintain, repair, operate field ready equipment. Plant, harvest, cultivate, spray crops. Operate self-propelled harvesting machines including all necessary adjustments and make in field repairs. Move, feed, water, care for livestock. Drive heavy semi-trucks to transport farm commodities to elevator, storage or market. Workers may be required to maintain farm grounds and clean up around buildings. Activities will include ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, repair fences and other structures. Work may be manual as well as mechanized. Work requires accuracy and efficiency. Special Requirements

Valid driver's license, clean MVR, may be required to obtain CDL within 30 days, employment reference, speak/understand English, experience driving a semi with a manual transmission.
