Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

Employees will operate all kinds of farm equipment to assist with all aspect of planting, raising, harvesting, and hauling of crops on our own farming operation. Job duties include but are not limited to operating equipment to plant corn, soybeans, wheat, milo and cotton, spray crops/fields (Insecticides, Herbicides, Fungicides), and operate equipment to harvest crops (combines, grain carts, semi-trucks, cotton strippers). Employees will need to assist with pivot irrigation systems including installing, repairing and maintenance. Employees will be required to do routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Operate mowers to mow around pivots, ditches and fields where needed. May be required to assist with swathing, mowing, raking and baling hay when applicable. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion.

Employees will only be custom combining for the clients listed on the itinerary from October until December. No other job duties listed above will be performed during that time.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a regular drivers license. Must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. We require 3 months experience.
